Recently, the ‘Joker’ director Shirish Kunder had uploaded an exclusive image of Sonakshi’s dance track ‘Dance Karle English Mein’ from the film on Twitter. The picture was hinting towards a dance sequence of the likes of ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’.
However, filmmaker Shirish Kunder rebuffed the gossips and said that ‘Dance Karle English Mein’ had no similarities with ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’. The film’s script demanded a song and as Sonakshi wanted to do something desi, the song was picturized accordingly.
Shirish said, "It was a different movie and ours is different. ‘Dance Karle English Mein' isn't a song that has been injected into the movie as an item number. It is there because it takes the story forward. We are not trying to replicate 'Munni' here."
"On the contrary Sonakshi wanted something as 'desi' as this for her,” added Shirish.
Sonakshi’s sexy dance steps
Sonakshi is donning a red and golden colored lehenga with a backless choli and dupatta, thereby flaunting a desi look in the song. The dance track is anticipated to mark the change of a shy lasso into a bombshell.
Sources revealed that when Sonakshi danced to the tunes of Farah Khan, the entire film unit of ‘Joker’, on seeing the hottie’s sexy dance moves, was left with their mouths wide open.
Talking about Sonakshi’s reaction to the song, Kunder said, "She freaked out on hearing the song. We all saw a new side of her when she hit the floors".
About ‘Joker’
The 'Tees Maar Khan’ famed filmmaker Shirish Kunder is directing the forthcoming film ‘Joker’.
Produced by Farah Khan, Shirish Kunder and Akshay Kumar, the film features Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha as the lead couple.
The film is scheduled for a December release.
